The making of our large Hammock bag is story split between continents. The vibrant pink, yellow and brown cotton canvas is produced in Mexico by specialist artisans following time-honoured weaving techniques. The yarn is knotted into strong ‘cradle’ cords that look like little hammock ropes, which explains our choice of name. The bag is then assembled in Colville’s atelier in Italy where its structure is reinforced and finessed with leather trims and a strong leather top handle, as well as a Colville-stamped leather pouch on the inside of the fabric, big enough for your phone and credit cards.
